The Thai Aquaculture House  -  Chiang Mai, Thailand

This proposal examines the historic lanna architecture of northern Thailand: an elevated residence on a remote site, is self sufficient thru means of acquaculture and built from materials collected and processed on the site.

The traditional architecture is deliberately reimagined utilising mythical and zoomorphic representations that can be found in 15th century-20th century buddhist art.
